R.P. Adams, a division of Service Filtration Corporation, is a sixty (65) year old manufacturer of process strainers and filters with over 10,000 worldwide installations. Headquartered in Buffalo, New York, R. P. Adams developed and patented the automated self-cleaning strainer in the 1960's. Since copied by a number of manufacturers, none possess the depth of experience and the still-proprietary knowledge that keeps the R. P. Adams "Poro-Edge" strainer the industry leader.

R. P. Adams are equally well known for their process strainers. All are available in a variety of alloys - Simplex and Duplex Basket types, Tee, and Cone strainers. Their engineering depth is quite substantial, too, as demonstrated by a commitment to total solution, packaged systems.
