The industrial model of the "Kobe" recip pump was introduced in 1951. It's unique vertical plunger design features a special lapped, close tolerance metal-to-metal plunger and liner with a low pressure packing below. The "Kobe" pump is especially well suited for extreme pressure services up to 30,000 PSIG.The "Kobe" pump offers offshore producers significant advantages, most notably a compact footprint. The plungers on the Kobe pump are vertical. And, the reducer is integral to the pump.
